WAUKESHA -- Two young boys died in separate accidents in Waukesha County this past weekend.
Waukesha police say a 6-year-old boy died when he was struck by a pickup truck while out on a bike ride with his family Saturday night. A neighbor says the boy was crossing the street near the Dairy Queen when he was struck. He was pronounced dead at the hospital. The driver of the pickup is cooperating with investigators.
In Pewaukee early Sunday a 3-year-old boy who was a passenger in a vehicle died when the driver crashed into a tree. The 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old female passenger suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital. The boy was pronounced dead at Children's Hospital.
