Franklin police are warning residents about always being aware of their surroundings and possessions after a Walmart shopper was robbed in the parking lot.
Police posted surveillance footage to Facebook, which shows a shopper loading groceries into the trunk of the car, when another car pulls up next to it.
A suspect steps out of the white car, goes into the back of the shopper’s car and steals something out of the back seat.
The suspect then gets back in the car and it drives away.
Police said the theft happened last week, and the individuals involved are also suspects in a similar theft in Oak Creek.
