MILWAUKEE -- Four teenagers and one woman were stabbed during a fight at a park on Milwaukee’s south side Monday evening.

It happened just before 6:30 p.m. at Clarke Square Park – which is located near the intersection of 23rd Street and Vieau Place.

According to Milwaukee police, the stabbing victims were a 33-year-old woman and four boys that range in age from 13 to 17-years of age. The victims all sustained non-life-threatening injuries and are being treated at area hospitals.
"It was just total chaos. People were fighting, screaming, running and yelling and then the woman who was pregnant got stabbed," said Joh Voit. He's lived across the street from the park for ten years.

"Somebody had a two by four. Somebody had a steel pole that was was taken off a swing set or something. They were running around wild, beating people and also trying to protect themselves. It was total chaos," said Voit.

Police say the fight occurred after the suspects' child was involved in a dispute with others at the park earlier in the day. The parents came to the park to confront those involved in the dispute and a large fight ensued.

Two suspects, a 33-year old woman and a 32-year-old man, have been arrested regarding this incident.

Police’s investigation is ongoing.
