Seven Waukesha families lost everything Saturday night after their apartment building caught fire.
Crews were called to the Maple Village Apartments shortly after 11 p.m. Saturday, and temporarily shut down traffic at Maple and Dunbar Avenues.
Firefighters had to kick down doors to get residents out safely, and crews are still investigating the cause of the fire.
The Red Cross said Sunday that it provided assistance to seven adults whose apartments were left unlivable.
