The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said human remains were found in the aftermath of two fires in Ixonia.
The sheriff said in a news release Tuesday that human remains were found in a shed that had burned down on Northside Road, and they do not yet know the person’s identity.
The firerequired help from 24 other departments Monday.
