The Henry Vilas Zoo in Madison is now home to two African lion cubs, the zoo announced Thursday.
The cubs were born to parents Shakura and Pelo at the end of February, and should be available to the public in a few weeks once they are big enough to leave the den.
African lions are protected by the Endangered Species Act.
