The new Milwaukee Bucks arena has its first major national sports event scheduled, for about four years after its completion.

The NCAA announced Tuesday that the new arena, the home of both the Milwaukee Bucks and Marquette University men's basketball, will host the NCAA Tournament's first and second rounds for that sport.

That continues a long relationship between the NCAA and the home arena of the Bucks. The BMO Harris Bradley Center has hosted numerous first and second round games, including this past March.

The economic impact of these events is in the millions every time they come to Milwaukee, as fans from eight teams travel to the Brew City.

The Bucks are also hoping to host an upcoming NBA All-Star Game.
