MOUNT PLEASANT -- An elderly woman was robbed while leaving a Pick and Save in Mount Pleasant Friday afternoon.
It happened around 3:24 p.m. at the grocery store on South Green Bay Road.
According to police, the 87-year-old women was getting into her car after shopping at the store when a man forcefully grabbed her purse.
The women suffered minor hand injuries.
Witnesses said the suspect was a black male in dark clothing. He got into a red mid-sized SUV, possibly a GMC Acadia.
